Privacy Policy — Plenty

Last updated: 25 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Plenty mobile application ("Plenty", "the app", "we", "us"), published by proApps, handles information. By using Plenty you agree to this policy.

The short version

Plenty is built to work without an account and without a server of our own. Everything you do in the app — your pantry, saved recipes, collections, ratings, shopping list, name, and preferences — is stored only on your device. We do not run a backend, we do not have a copy of your data, and we cannot see it. The app is free and supported by ads. The only data leaving your device is handled by the third-party services described below (advertising and, if you use voice input, speech recognition).

Information we collect ourselves

None on our servers. Plenty has no user accounts, no login, and no backend database operated by us. The content you create stays in the app's local storage on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Information handled by third-party services

1. Advertising — Google AdMob

Plenty displays ads through Google AdMob (part of Google). To serve ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process:

Plenty requests non-personalized ads where possible, but Google may still collect the above to deliver ads, cap frequency, and detect invalid activity. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy and terms:

You can reset or limit your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads).

2. Voice ingredient input — device speech recognition (optional)

If you use the "Speak to add" feature, Plenty uses your device's built-in speech-recognition service (provided by your operating system, e.g. Google on Android or Apple on iOS) to convert your speech into text so it can match ingredients. Audio may be processed by that system service under the provider's own privacy policy.

What we do NOT do

Children's privacy

Plenty is a general-audience recipe app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Note that the app contains third-party ads.

Permissions

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you are in control of it:

For data handled by Google AdMob, see Google's controls linked above to manage or reset your Advertising ID.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the app or store listing.
