Privacy Policy for ColorJoy

This Privacy Policy explains how the ColorJoy mobile application (“ColorJoy”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. By using ColorJoy you agree to this policy.

ColorJoy is a colouring app. It works fully offline and does not require an account. The only data that leaves your device is what is needed to show advertisements, as described below.

Information We Collect

Information you provide: None. ColorJoy does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any account sign-in. There is nothing to register and nothing to log in to.

Your pictures: The pictures you colour are stored only on your own device, in the app's private storage. We never upload them, never see them, and they are not backed up to any server of ours. If you tap Save, a copy is also written to your device's own photo gallery — that copy is yours and is handled by your device, not by us.

Settings and progress: Small preferences — the colours you used recently, which pictures you have finished, and whether sound is on — are stored locally on the device. They never leave it.

Advertising: ColorJoy shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To do that, the AdMob SDK may collect your device's advertising ID and standard technical information such as device type, operating system version, coarse region and general ad-interaction data. This is collected and used by Google, not by us; we never receive it in a form that identifies you. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Analytics: None. ColorJoy contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, and we collect no usage statistics of any kind.

Permissions the App Requests

• Internet and network state — used solely to fetch and display ads. Everything else in the app works with no connection at all.
• Photos / storage (Android 9 and older only) — requested only at the moment you choose to save a finished picture to your device gallery. On Android 10 and newer this permission is not requested at all, and it is never used to read your existing photos.

Children

ColorJoy is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Younger family members may of course enjoy colouring in it — we simply do not build any profile of who is holding the device. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will act on it.

How the Data Is Used

• To display advertisements, which is what keeps ColorJoy free.
• To keep your own pictures and settings on your own device between sessions.

We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves, and we have no server that stores anything about you.

Your Choices and Deleting Your Data

• Your pictures: delete any of them from My Pictures inside the app, or clear the app's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the app — all of it goes with it. There is no server-side copy to request.
• Advertising ID: your device settings let you reset it or opt out of personalised advertising (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Ads will still appear, but will not be personalised.
• Ads altogether: ColorJoy needs a connection to fetch ads; used offline, no ad request is made at all.

Data Security and Retention

Data sent to Google AdMob travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Everything else stays in your device's own app storage, protected by the operating system, and is kept only until you delete it or uninstall the app.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
